鳩山氏の政府声明という最後の「仕事」を次期政権がどう具体化するか、なかなか難しいことだろう。解決は、亀井氏の国民新党がいうとうり１５年から２０年後に全基地撤収のデッドラインを設ける事にあるのではないか。正直言って１５年後に極東がどうなっているか判らない。しかし原則を打ち立てるのは悪いとはおもわない。もう一つ重要なのは基地提供の責任だ。
ベトナム戦争のときのＢ５２爆撃機や北爆の空母（例えばコンステレーシォン）の策源地は沖縄であった。この時期の日本における日本人の騒乱は、ベトナムへ
の同情と殺人のための基地が日本にもあることの怒りが原因と言ってもいい。それを将来も繰り返す事は倫理的に正しいのか。この視点をとことん貫徹するのは
難しいが、一定の配慮は不可欠と考える。
