福島大臣が、沖縄海兵隊のグアム移転を主張している。野暮を承知でいうが、日本の政治家がいえるのは、国外へということであって、行き先まで指定するのは越権だ。協議したいと先方様がいえばアドバイスできようが。この海兵師団の駐留地は、つきつめると合衆国大統領が決定する。勿論、それがアメリカ以外ならその国の了承を必要とする。こういうセンシチブな問題は筋をとおす事が最低限必要だ。話を転じて、鳩山さんだが、抑止力としてある数の海兵隊は必要と発言した。岡田外相と同意見だが、岡田さんがいうのも興味深いが友愛の海をめざす鳩山総理が語るのは解せない。この人を理解する努力は徒労だろうから本稿ではよす。彼は決断力を来年は示すらしいが、中味が悪ければ決断しないほうが良いのは当然だろう。中味で最良なのは「辞任」。これが国民のいまやコンセンサスだろう。ともかく大変な方が総理でおられる。就任前からダメと思っていたが予想をはるかに超えるダメぶりである。
