昨日の１１月２５日、産経の（東京）１４版に南越谷第一公園でのいたましい事件の報道がある。５７歳の男性が散弾銃で死亡していた。「男性の側に散弾銃と、「人工透析に疲れた」などと書かれた遺書があったことから・・」というものだ。
私は４年前に渋谷のＰＬの健診所で超音波による腎臓の腫瘍の可能性を指摘され、東京の単科大学の診断で右腎全摘の診断をうけた。かすかな誤診の期待をこめて板橋のＰＥＴ診断施設をおとずれたが、やはり癌だった。そこの医師が癌研を紹介してくれ、私はセカンドオビニオンを求めた。医師は、年齢からして右腎の部分切除がいい、といってくれた。前者の手術一ヶ月後、後者は三ヶ月後しかあいていなかった。結局癌研におねがいした。
４年後まったく常人とおなじ暮らしをおくっている。医師、医療保険制度には、感謝している。はっきり言って日本はこの点では現世のパラダイスに近い。その日本で何故冒頭の記事のような事が起こるのだ？私は腎臓全摘ならよろこんで摘出した腎臓を贈ったろう。勿論その経緯を全部話した上でだ。超音波診断の進歩で初期の腎臓ガン発見はめざましいばかりだ。万波さんのような名医がいれば、救われる患者は多い。しかし、万波医師のミスばかりとりあげて、ナントカ審議会はセーブをかけた。
私は声を大にして言いたい。こんな「専門家」は信用するな、彼等は人工透析の苦しみの専門家じゃない。他人の苦しみは百年でも我慢できる人達だ。このブログの開設もこれが主眼のひとつだ。どうかこの部分をファックスなりメールにするなどしてお知り合いに送っていただきたい。
