を手に持つ。もう一人もラグビーよろしく他の人に渡す。社員「ドロボー」と連呼。ここにいたって警官が制止の声をかける。
もとに戻す。東京のそして日本の「新しい現実」の兆しが始まった。制服警官４人の目前で商品の略奪未遂である。人によっては、家計に熱心な主婦の行き過ぎとみるだろう。言い分もあろう。が、しかし日本が違法行為に甘い国との印象をもたれているなら大問題だ。米国にはノーベル賞狙いの人が、日本には犯罪予備軍が来るとしたら願い下げにしてもらいたい。以下の記述は日本人の盲点をつくかもしれない。戦後最大の事件をおこした組織のナンバー２が殺された。その犯人は現行犯逮捕されたが、刑に服した後、本国に送還される可能性を考えていただろうか。入管当局は刑を終えた者をその対象にするという発想をしただろうか、そしてするだろうか。拉致支援グループ、大量の麻薬の受け入れ組織、警察は必死に証拠を集める、その努力は貴い。しかし、そもそもなぜ日本の法をてんから守る気持ちのない外国人が日本にいるのか、いられるのか。英国は地下鉄テロの後、英国の法を尊重しない者たちに遠慮なく出国を命じている。正当に居住する外国人の人権は大事だ。その前提のもとに、熟慮すべきことがあると思う。
